a Grand Finale!

In februari startte ik in een werkgroep op school; een oudercollectief dat zich de afgelopen maanden heeft ingezet om het nieuwe schoolgebouw dat in juli zou worden opgeleverd, nog mooier te maken. Hier waren veel ouders bij betrokken; fondsenwervers, architecten, directeur van De Doelen, de Vrienden van het Landje, organisatoren van acties, communicatietalenten, ontwerp- en vormgevingsspecialisten en de leraren en directie van de school. Dit schooljaar is gestart in het nieuwe gebouw en ik maakte en drukte de uitnodiging voor de officiële opening. Uitgangspunt was de website die ik heb ontworpen en gebouwd met hotglue.me. Hiermee een Grande Finale van dit project!

From this february on I took part in a group of talents that had the goal to make the new schoolbuilding even more beautiful. There were parents with various specialties: architects, fundraisers, communication professionals, organizors, cultural hotshots, designers and the teachers and manager of the school. This year at school started in the new building and soon there’s an official opening. I made the invitations based on the website I designed and built with hotglue.me; a Grand Finale!

Een werkgroep op school vroeg me een website te ontwerpen & bouwen om iedereen te enthousiasmeren voor de verhuizing naar een nieuw gebouw. From all bears

Volgende week alweer de laatste schoolweek voor mijn kinders. Nuis er bij mijn oudste geen klassenouder dus zelf initiatief genomen tot een bedankje. Op school heeft iedere klas een dierennnaam, onze oudste zit bij de Beren!! Komt dat ff uit, ik maakte een boekje met mijn berenlino waarin iedere ‘beer’ iets kan schrijven voor onze favoriete juf! Maakte per ongeluk eerst een ‘apenboek’…….

Next week it will be the last week of school before the big holidays. The class of my eldest is called ‘the bears’. I made a ‘bear’-booklet with my lino where every ‘bear’ can write something for our favourite teacher. First I made a mistake by using my monkey-lino…..

 

Notebooks, old school

Dit brachten mijn ouders laatst mee: mijn oud schoolschriftjes, uit mid jaren 70. En ook mijn zwemdiploma’s (onderaan), die vind ik prachtig! En jij?

My parents recently found my old school notebooks, from the mid 70’s. And also my swimming certificate (in Dutch Zwemdiploma), it’s so beautiful, don’t you think?
