We have a football-boy!

September 30, 2010

Yesterday Jack had his first practice at the ‘Rotterdam Football Academy’. Therefore he has gotten a complete football outfit. Now he thinks he’s stoer as we say in Holland, it means something like burly… You can tell by his expression, nah?

Happy fireworks

September 28, 2010

This is a birthdaycard I made a while ago; the idea was to fake fireworks to celebrate the happy news. I did it with the spirals in the background.

The card is folded as an harmonica so that each letter is on a seperate side.

These 2 above are made for 2 brothers, only the fronts are shown. The 2nd brother is not called ‘Flipje’ by the way but ‘Niels’.

A mini mouse in the house

Luckily it’s a lovely mouse!!!!

Old Skool

Found some old try-outs on an old laptop. Get new ideas from it immediately, but when to execute them…..!!

If you have any suggestions, please let me know.

Precious Panda

September 21, 2010

I’m past the flowers and thought to make a panda. Above the result, underneath the development.

I’d had to draw some different panda’s first (strange that then you notice panda’s everywhere…) and then let Kate choose her favourite one. From thick woolvilt I’ve made the form and with a piece of white I’ve made the contours.

Very much fun to make and quite easy!! What’s to follow next?

Love these ‘poezie’-pictures. There are used in ‘poezie’-albums; albums you give to family and friends and ask them to write a little poem in it for you. Usually accompanied with a picture, like these for instance.

It’s a bit nostalgic now cause my son has a friends-album; an album with a page for every friend to write in things like my favourite colour, my favourite food, my favourite animal….

Guess what I like best. Am I nostalgic or old-fashioned?

Thanks to Hendrik!

September 14, 2010

While I’m still ‘enjoying’ doing nearly nothing, my sweet Hendrik is taking care of the household tasks like cleaning, cooking and bringing the children to bed and school.

I took the picture above for the result of his actions. The pictures beneath I took for the beauty of it; vintage toys are eye candy!
