Yet another Idea card, 8!

Hallo daar, hier alweer het 8e idee kaartje. Ik merk dat het overige werk dat ik wil posten een beetje blijft liggen door alle drukte en vermoeidheid hier maar ik beloof verbetering! Tot snel!!

Idea card 7

O oh, gekke dag: druk druk druk en totaal verregend vanmiddag. Dus nu maakt mijn lief het eten en zit ik met een rode wijn aan de computer voor een nieuw idee-kaartje.

OMG, what a crazy day: busy busy busy and caught a huge rain on my bike this afternoon. So, now my husband is preparing dinner and I’m enjoying a glass of red wine and sharing the new idea card with you.

Het woensdag-project is stilletjes een donderdag-project geworden. Veel handiger want dat is mijn vrije dag en met 4 mensen in 1 huis en 1 computer is het ondertussen nummertje trekken…. Dus daarom vandaag Idea card 6.

My wednesday-project quietely turned into a thursday-project for several reasons; thursday is my day of from work and with 4 people in the house and 1 computer I have to wait in line sometimes…. therefore today the Idea card 6-post.

Doll Jack & doll Kate

Last year for the birthday of my father-in-law I made a doll of Jack and of Kate. First I manipulated an image by enlarging the heads and more of those tricks. Then I printed them on transfer-paper and put them on fabric with an iron. Then I sewed them on another piece of fabric, filled it was balls of cotton and voilá. Unfortunately I ruined a piece of carpet in our bedroom cause I wanted to iron it quickly (dumb, dumb). I took no pictures of the result but here are the original digital dolls!

Plans, plans & plans!

Yet another idea is teasing my mind. Here you see a kind of guide with lots of patterns from the seventies. It has nice dresses (especially beautiful collars and puffing sleeves) and coats which you can customize to your own size with a ruler (the red thing on the image beneath). Wonder if I ever find the time to make something out of it…
