Update

Hier een update over 2 dingen:

1. De kalender heb ik op verzoek nu ook in het Engels opgemaakt. Voor de liefhebbers; een pdf onderaan deze post.

2. De broches en hangers die ik maakte bleken te smetten. Goeie feedback, ik dacht dat het met de watervaste stift die ik gebruik geen probleem zou zijn (wel als je het vervolgens in een oven stopt). De broches en hangers lak ik nu af met transparante coating. Ik noem het productontwikkeling….

Here’s an update on 2 things:

1. On request I made an English version of the calender. If you want it; you’ll find a PDF-file below this post.

2. Someone told me my broches and pendents do stain a little. Good feedback, I thought it wouldn’t be a problem with the permanent marker I use (but it ís when you put it in an oven). Therefor I coated the material with a transparant coating. I call it productdevelopment….

Shrinked stuff

Twee bekende illustraties als broche: de kikker van mijn kalender en het modigliani-meisje. Het kikkertje is cadeau gegeven, de ander houd ik zelf natuurlijk!

Present(s) time

Hebben jullie ook zoveel verjaardagen deze maand? Wij grossieren erin en hebben dus ook altijd een voorraadje inpakpapier. Maar nu greep ik mis, wat doe je dan last minute????? Hatsikidee, van een rol patroonpapier en mijn stempels maakte ik mijn eigen papier. Kadootjes geven vind ik zo leuk!

This month we truly have an birthdayparty-frenzy. I always have a stock of giftpaper but now somehow it’s all used without noticing. What do you at the last minute???? Well, I took some patternpaper and my stamps and voilá, here’s my custommade giftpaper. O, how I like to give presents!!

My Moustache Men

De snorren-hipe gaat eigenlijk aan mij voorbij maar toen ik met mijn zoon The Simpsons zat te kijken en Flanders zag met die borstelsnor kon ik het niet laten (Milhouse vind ik helemaal fantastisch, jullie ook?). Hier mijn Snorrenmannen als poster (lage resolutie, niet voor reproductie). Misschien komt ie als A2-poster nog eens op de markt….. Hieronder mijn favoriete snor als postkaart (hoge resolutie op A6 formaat). Deze krijgen jullie kado!

The moustache-hipe is passing by without inspiring me but when I was watching The Simpsons with my son and I saw Flanders, I had to sketch some (my favourite character is Milhouse, he looks great don’t you think?). Here’s my Moustache poster (low res, not for reproduction). Maybe I’ll produce a few A2-posters some day…. The Moustache Men below is my favourite and a gift to you (high resolution at A6-size).

For Florine

Paar dagen ziek geweest, samen met mijn zoon…… maar gelukkig had ik dit project al klaar om te showen! Dit is het kaartje dat ik voor vrienden heb gemaakt; eerst een potloodschets, toen in Illustrator getekend en vervolgens op de snijmachine geproduceerd. De ouders van Florine zijn er erg blij mee!!

We (son and I) were ill for a few days….. but fortunately I had a finished project to show you! This is the card a made for friends; first a rough sketch, then I drawed it in Illustrator and after that the production on the lasercutmachine. The parents of Florine are very happy with it!!

My modigliani

Mijn eerste stempel in 2014. Nu eens diapositief met volvlak ovaal. Ze maakt me blij en ze lijkt een beetje familie van de werken van Modigliani….

My first stamp in 2014. This time diapositive and in an oval. She makes me happy and she looks a little bit like family of the works of Modigliani….

I give you love

Vizier gericht op 2014, fijn! Ik wens iedereen bakken met liefde toe. Hierboven de kaart die we maakten met onze lasercutmachine. Hieronder nog de kerstballen die ik versierde met de enorme voorraad glitters van mijn dochter. Er staat me sowieso iets leuks te gebeuren eind februari en ik hoop toch eens een etsy-account te openen. Verder solliciteer ik gewoon door voor een leuke functie, iemand suggesties?

Looking forward to 2014, pheew! I wish everyone lots of love; here’s the card we made with our lasercutmachine. Below the Xmas-balls I made with glitters of my daughter (she’s got a gigantic stock). There’s something nice ahead at the end of februari and I hope to finally open an etsy-account. Furtheron I’ll apply for a job, suggestions anyone?
